Notice: Berta's will be closed on Tuesday nights.

Zero in on this charmer in Wanaque, New Jersey,
known for wonderful Northern Italian fare that
captures the simple homemade pleasures of
"The Boot" backed by a welcoming ambiance
and extensive, Barolo-heavy wine list.

It’s “stood the test of time" - - Zagat

Starting this Thursday is

"FIVE FOR FIVE".

I'll pick five interesting
wines each week and
re-price them @ $5 over wholesale.

They will be selected from different price points but the
best buys will always be the
high end stuff (i.e. a $37
Barolo or a single vineyard Barbaresco for $46;
Chateauneuf du Pape
for $34. etc, etc.)
